WHAT IS HAPPENING?

December 2021, Capon Springs & Farms Inc. agreed with foreign owned Competitive Power Ventures to install 18-25 wind turbines on Spring Mountain in Capon Springs, WV. This industrial-scale energy project will be within half a mile of some homes and two miles of others. Most residents of Capon Springs oppose the project or wish to be better informed about the plans. To address these concerns, we held a community meeting on December 15, 2024. You can watch it here:
